Update and Support Request Following Hurricane Helene

I hope this message finds you safe and well in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. My heart goes out to all those affected, and I pray for strength and resilience during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, I must inform you that my business is temporarily closed until further notice. While I have power, I am currently without water, and the building has suffered damage from fallen trees. At this point, I’m unsure when repairs will be completed.

As many of you know, I also work full-time for the government. We have not yet been given a timeline for when to report back to work, and I anticipate mandatory overtime when we do. Additionally, my son’s school remains closed, adding further uncertainty to our situation.

I’ve filed claims with my insurance, but they were denied as the damage has been classified as an Act of God. My government assistance claim was also denied due to my existing insurance coverage. If you have any financial advice or resources, please feel free to reach out via email.
